Durability Of E-350 Head On Collision With An 18 Wheeler

Hello My name is Forrest Brown. In Jan. 2008 I was involved in an accident (on the job carrying paint to cabinet shops) involving an head on collision with an 18 Wheeler at 55-60 MPH. I was in the hospital for 4 months. I had a brain injury. My left arm is fused at the elbow and also lost my left leg. But I am alive and well.

It has been a long road to recovery. My family keeps me going, Im married with 3 kids 2, 9, 16. I do not drive a ford as my personal vehicle because im in a workers comp case and cant afford one, but Ford vehicles are very durable. To get hit head on by an 18 Wheeler at 55-60 mph and survive says alot about the durability and strength of the Ford vehicles. My next car will definately be a ford.

I want to thank the Ford Motor Company for the durability of this vehicle. IT SAVED MY LIFE!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Forrest, thank you so much for taking the time to share your story with us. We're glad that you survived what sounds like a terrible accident - it sounds like it could have been much, much worse. You can see what we mean when we say "Built Ford Tough." You seem to be built pretty tough yourself.
