I purchased my 2007 Explorer in July 2007. I turned 100,000 January 6, 2010. I commute 125 miles per day. I changed the tires at 58,000 and replaced the long belt under the hood last November but only because my cat was looking for a warm spot. The vehicle was fine with the new belt and the cat only lost a lot of fur and half of her tail.
I love my Explorer and so does everybody that rides in it or drives it. I purchased a vehicle to save the miles on my commute, but went back to my Explorer after a week. I only got about 9 additional miles to the gallon. Currently I am getting 21.1 to 21.7 miles to the gallon. I work to pay for it, I am going to enjoy it instead of it sitting in a carport.
