Male Breast Cancer

A few months ago, when Ford created the Customize your mustang feature on line, I created a few designs, one of them being called "Save the Ta-Tas" for breast cancer awareness month. Now, here comes the weird thing. Three weeks after I created that design a little voice told me to go to the doctor. I was diagnosed with Male Breast Cancer at 44 years old, Stage 1. Had two surgeries, one to remove the lump and the other for double mastectomy. I guess it was just an omen when I created that car. Anyway, I am not sure if it was in Gods plan for me to create that design to get me to doctor but now as I looked back, it had to be an Angel that told me to create it. Anyway, just wanted to write a short note to Ford. I created a Blue Mustang with pink accents to support Male Breast Cancer awareness. My new motto is...Everyday is Gift, Enjoy It!
That is fantastic that you caught it early. I too am a survivor of almost 8 years now. You are the first person I've ever read about who was diagnosed with breast cancer as a man. I knew it was rare, but that it unfortunately does exist. I'm really interested to hear more about your journey. Please feel free to contact me anytime. Thanks for sharing!
