My First Ford

By Rich C.

Dad bought the car new from the dealer. I was only six or seven at the time. i remember rolling down the windows and checking out all the buttons and switches. In my early teens the car became mine. Even before I had a licence, I remember riding my bike down to the hardware store, used my lunch money to make my own keys for it. Driving up and down the driveway. Then the day came. My licence came in the mail. Even though body the was suffering from the signs of Minnesota road cancer The car ran like a top. It was the best cruise ever
