Explorer Front Seats

I have had the pleasuer of rideing in a new Explorer twice now and it is a great car EXCEPT the front seat head rests. These protrude forward at an odd angle and too much making the seat very uncomfortable. For this one reason I would NOT purchase this or any other car with a similar feature. If it does not FIT I will not buy it and the new Explorer front seat head rest does not fit. To bad it is so nice otherwise. Change the angle.

Bob M I realize the headrest adjust up and down and front and back, but my wife says the same thing as writter. She can't get the headrest adjusted to her comfort. Maybe the headrest is fuller than before.

Hmmmmm - is there a chance that those headrests were not adjusted to your liking?
I have a 2013 Explorer Limited 302A and have no problem with them. FYI: the headrests adjust up and down with several detents and they also tilt back and forth using a nice feeling ratchet mechanism.

You can change the angle of the headrest by pulling it all the way forward and it can be reset to an upright position.
