Fusion GT

it seems like every other american automaker has, or is producing, a four door sports sedan. dodge with the charger and chevrolet is producing the SS. i believe ford should put an ecoboost V6 in a fusion and make it RWD ford needs an affordable sedan and the fusion doesnt just look nice but its smaller size would allow for better performance mainly because it would be faster on acceleration. sure ford has the taurus SHO but the car is too expensive to be in the reach of your average american. the focus GT wouldnt be a fancy car like the taurus, it would be an affordable performance sedan.

A 2.3 liter, awd and dual-clutch automatic would be the best balance of fun & family friendliness. If you didn't have kids & wife to haul, I'm assuming you'd just buy the Mustang.

Make that bad boy rear wheel drive as well and give it plenty of power.

chevrolet and dodge are dropping full on V8s in theirs and i dont thing a 4cyl even if ecoboost can compete with that. to be in their league i truly believe at least a v6 ecoboost is needed

I like this idea but not the RWD part. It would take too many changes to make the Fusion a rear drive to make it practical. Now if they could do it in an AWD that would make more sense as they already have AWD available in the 2.0EB Titanium trim. Also not sure if a V6 is needed as that would be even more weight added along with AWD. Now if they could drop in the new 2.3EB that's supposed to be coming out that would work nicely.

Add a 6 speed manual to the list and I'd be on the reserve list in a heartbeat.
