5.8 Back to Truck Engine Line Up

I would like to see Ford offer a 4 valve 5.8 liter in the F150. I think it would be a more powerful and efficient motor than the 2 valve 6.2 liter, and it would bring a little nostalgia back just as the return of the 5.0 liter. Some aren't ready to accept the 3.5 EcoBoost in place of a V8. Also, the 5.7 Hemi still offers more horsepower than the current Ford line up (except for the 6.2) and people still care about the HP numbers. I'm a proud Ford owner and want people to see what a superior product Ford has over it's competition.

We need a true V8 is wat e need 6.8L with a economy switch that will turn off 4 cylinders when you want to burn less gas but it need to be a straight up v8 meaning when in v8 mode gas guzzler if this iz successful you could then remove the desiel are even add 2 more cylinders and the super duty deisel would become a 10 cylinder and you kno wht that mean heavy dutys get a bigger lift an a hard core 12 cylinder diesel we will put peter biults, macks, freightliners, and volvo eight wheelers out of comminsion

I think this is a good idea, everything would improve, but production costs may dictate whether Ford considers the 5.8 for their trucks or not.
