Hood Pistons on Mustangs

I was ready to buy a Mustang GT until I had to wrestle with the prop rod. You want thirty grand for a car with a prop rod ? That really cheapens the car. You have two pistons to hold up the trunk and a prop rod under the hood. I would suggest that the next redesign include hood pistons so us old baby boomers can show off the motor without a struggle.

While I agree this should come stock, I know hood struts are available in the aftermarket (without drilling your hood). I know this because I installed some on my 2013 Mustang! No more burning hot prop rod!
