Fingerprint Start/Stop + Unlock/Lock

I am the proud owner of a 2011 Ford Fiesta SES with push button start (a feature that I love) however there are a few flaws in this technology witch make it impractical.

1. When unlocking my car from the outside using the button on the door I constantly find myself pushing my hip up against the car to get my keys at a range where they are recognized by the car. (this is inconvenient and my look like I love my car a little too much to some people)
2. When I am not driving on my own I ether need to pull the keys out of my pocket and unlock the car for the passenger (defeating the purpose of the technology) or make the passenger wait until I'm in the car to unlock their door for them.

It would be nice if I could unlock the car with my fingerprint so I don't hafto thrust my hips into the side of the car, and a great addition to this would be if I could program my family member's fingerprints into the car so they can unlock their own doors. Of course there would hafto be fingerprints authorized to unlock and start the car and others only authorized to unlock it.

Now a key would still be required for obvious reasons but it would make this feature a whole lot more useable.

Thanks for your time and consideration.

It's not expensive, and you can store more than one finger.

Bad idea. Burn your finger, car won't start. It would be way too expensive and complicate things too much for too little gain. Going back to keys instead of fobs would be the better way to go.
