Classic Cars, Classic Badges

More than one million people enjoyed the 2012 Woodward Dream Cruise. If you love classics but weren’t able to make it to southeast Michigan for the annual event, you can still enjoy the incredible range of vehicles in the photo slide show below. And you can be a part of our latest Ford Social initiatives: Classic Badges!

We just launched badges commemorating classic Ford vehicles, called “The Best of” series. Go to Grab a Badge , check them out and download your favorite ones! You can also vote for your favorite classic Ford right here:

At the Woodward Dream Cruise this year, Mustang fans were treated to a display of twenty years of SVT performance and over 800 classic and modern Mustangs be on display in Mustang Alley. The Ford display at the intersection of 9 Mile Road and Woodward Avenue, in Ferndale, Michigan, also had everything from monster truck to Raptor trucks and even a few tricked out Fiesta cars.

I used to own several of these cars before they like me, became an antique! ~Rick Magee, FL

Ah, the memories. My very first car was a 1956 Fairlane Club Sedan, 292 cubic inch Power Pack, power bench seat, factory tinted class all around, and vinyl headliner. I later souped up a 312 and ended up on the local PD top 10 fast car list. (No tickets, they went to the local track to watch Run-what-you-brung.) I did beat a '68 Fairlane Cobra Jet. ;-)
classic cars are truly classic they forever remain evergreen
