My suggestion is for Ford to look at the possibility of a small to medium sized pickup truck, equiped with a turbodiesel engine. A cutting edge diesel engine combined with a 6-speed transmission, could allow for best in class fuel economy, impressive towing and hauling capacity, as well as making Ford the only automaker to sell such a vehicle. The small truck market is not dead, it just wants an update. Additionally, if a hybrid version of the truck were to be offered, it would again be the only one of its kind.
