I recently took my 97 Lincoln Towncar to Marmie Ford in Great Bend, Kansas to have the heater repaired. Only second major service work in over 207,000 miles. They gave me a 2011 F-250 Super Duty to drive. Crew cab, 4×4, and beautiful inside and out. I drove back to the farm and parked it. I had other trucks to drive, and since it didn’t belong to me, I didn’t feel right about driving it. I kept looking at this truck, and silly as it may seem, it was like it was talking to me. Every time I looked out the window, I would hear this sultry Mae West voice – “Hey big boy. Why don’t you come out and drive me sometime?” I drove the truck. A lot. Now I know why two, three, four year old Ford trucks have so many miles on them. You can’t stop driving them.
