i\'ve wondered why ford did away with the t-bird ? i mean the last version was ugly but the long body (60\'s-90\'s)was awesome. why dont ford take the taurus make it a coupe and label it the new t-bird then it wont interfere with mustang sales. if someone wants a midsize coupe they have a mustang and for a full size coupe they can get a t-bird. make it rear wheel drive with optional all wheel drive, also as far as engine options 4 cyl. eco boost(turbo coupe) v6 from the mustang, and the v6 eco boost(instead of the v8) all fuel efficient engines and still have enough power to have the bird fly again.
