On Jan 21, 2013 at 7:00pm Mr. Mason our driver for our company was delivering a load of goods pulling a trailer that weighed thousands of pounds. Mr. Mason before he retired was an over the road truck driver and had over 35 yrs experience. This was the maiden trip for the new truck we had just purchased for the company. Mr. Mason took Mrs. Mason with him on this trip. They were in Mississippi on the Interstate with the cruise control set on 70 mph. Mrs. Mason was asleep in the passenger side. Mr. Mason started to feel like his head was to heavy to hold up and knew something was wrong. He called out to Mrs. Mason to wake up but it was to late. Mr. Mason passed out while traveling 70 mph. The pickup went off the road and ran into a tree head on at 70 mph, at which time the trailer jack-knifed and the load hit the side of the pickup. All airbags deployed and the engine went down instead of into the cabin. They both walked away. Mr. & Mrs. Mason were taken to the hospital and he was found to have had a heart attack. They put 1 stent in and released him. She had minor brusing. We drove them back home two days after the accident. They are on the road for us again. Thank you Ford for the EXCELLENT safety features that you have engineered. You have saved their lives and yes we bought another new F250 to replace the one that saved them. Thank you again!!!
