Ford Ranger Turns Over 325,000 Original Miles

In 1997 my girlfriend bought a new Ford Ranger. Today, March 2012 we have been married for 12 years and we have 3 children ages 10, 8 and 5. Our children have always known “The Ranger” being its been apart of our family their entire lives! The Ranger turned over 325,000 miles and it’s still going strong in Minnesota! Its in the parking lot of my work as I write this.

martin loomis i have a 98 ranger xlt with 289000 as of today aug 14 2012, its the best I ever had hate to think of getting something else.

Lynn H I agree with ya all and I am a ranger owner too I have a 04 ranger FX4 and I love it , got it with 14,000 and have over 115,000 and it is still going strong I told my kids to start out with a ranger they wont regret it.

Amy Eason I had a 97 ranger and had 200,000 miles on it until someone pulled out in front of me and totaled it. It is sad they don't offer the ranger anymore. I don't know what I am going to do when the ranger I currently have gives out. I am quiet upset with ford for doing away with the ranger. I saw where the ranger is going to be bigger bad idea ford, if people wanted a bigger truck you offer that and with the price of gas my 05 ranger is just what I need for size and fuel mileage.
