I’ve owned “Cole” since october of 2010. it earns its keep by pulling a cattle trailer and hauling hay, seed, and whatever else needs to get from one place to the other. this picture was taken the day I brought it home, and it has’nt stopped working (or been this clean!) since then. It has started in the coldest temps and ran on the hottest days. I plan on it being around for at least another half-million miles or so.

The sides of the truck bed need to be cut off at about 2 inches above the top of the fenders on the outside. Lower sides on the bed would allow a person to reach over the sides to load and unload easily. This is a real problem with the 4x4 F-250 Super Duty. It is a tall vehicle. This would help greatly when pulling goose neck trailers and campers, expecially when you are on rough ground. The back corners of the bed will get into the trailer from time to time when you are on rough ground. You would be able to stand on the ground and reach into the bed and tie down your load with out climbing into the bed of the truck. The truck bed should have D-rings on the inside of the bed and on the top rail of the bed. The bed is not much use (for looks only) if you cannot tie your load down. Objects in the bed become mobile and dangerous when on rough ground or in an accident. DOT officers will get nasty on you for not securing a load your hauling. Truck beds are not set up for that now. The working man needs your help. I want to see this done. NOT to Chevy or Dodge. Make the Ford a real work truck. Able to haul a load safely. Thanks, loyal Super Duty owner, John Layton
