To the corporate officers at Ford Motor Company, Read my lips, "Do not shelf or close the idea of producing the F-100/code name P525. Ford Motor Company needs to give the potential pickup truck buyer a choice between a work truck or a light duty basic transportation pickup truck (urban pickup truck). The Ford F-150 was designed and given the capability to be a work truck. Why not build a midsized pickup truck that is fun to drive, quick, agile, reasonably fast, economical on fuel, rides like a car, has a sturdy frame, chasis, and suspension, have the capability of towing a maximum of 6500lbs. and payload of 2500lbs., and that has a futuristic exterior body styling to it (i.e. front grille, lower fascia, and headlamps in the front and flaresided cargo bed, tail lamps, and sport tuned dual exhaust in the rear.
Pickup trucks for the city enviroment have no need for tow capability of 11,300lbs. or over 3000lbs. payload capacity like farmers, ranchers, construction contractors, and utility companies might need.
When you have a good looking exterior body styled pickup truck, women tend to want to ride in your pickup truck often thus how the pickup truck got its name.
Just give the potential pickup truck buyer a choice between a F-series pickup truck which was designed and given capability to do work or a midsized pickup truck designed to have attractive styling, a smooth car like ride, and economical on fuel. May have to change the name badging of this midsized pickup truck to something else other than F-100. May this new midsized pickup truck be available by the 2014 model year. Thank you
My name is Duane Porter and I approve this idea
