My Dad was a Ford salesman and later owned his own dealership in upstate New York. I attended college and later worked for him winning several awards including the Gold Medallion Service Manager’s Award. After suffering a heart attack in 2002, I began to realize that maybe chasing the carrot might not be worth it. I was working for NASCAR Technical Institute in Ky at the time and accepted a job teaching auto technology at Eastside Technical Center in Lexington, Ky. I own a ‘55 Ford rat rod, ‘04 Town Car, ‘67 Mustang GT, a 94 Ranger and a 06 F150 4X4. I bleed Ford blue. I also began a program where students work at night repairing poor people’s cars for free. We raise money through a road rally (4-24-10) and have performed over $50K in repairs over the last 6-years. We’re trying to raise $2000 to continue our work. Can you help? Thanks, Tom
