Unbelivable Reliability

In January 2004 my dad purchaced a Heritage series f150 standard cab long bed pickup for his company. This truck was placed on a route that covered 600 miles a day 6 days a week. It is powered by a 4.2 l v-6 backed by a 5 speed manual transmission. The original engine made an incredible 780000 miles before being replaced. Never touched in 780000 miles !!!! The f150’s front end components are original the truck now has 844000 miles and is still going strong !!! It delivers consistently 19mpg. The cab is as quiet as the day it rolled off the lot. The A/C is freezing cold and is original to the truck. Imagine a A/C compresser original at 844000 miles !!!! This truck gives a face to the saying ” Built Ford Tough !!!”
