Truck Saves Lives
AUG

I was traveling in FL with my new bride in 2005. An old man ran a red light and t-boned me from the left side going close to 60 mph. I hurt my left ankle and hit my head on the B pillar. Other than that we walked away with no serious injury. Meanwhile, the old man in his (at the time) new GM product was air lifted to the hospital. When the EMS crews arrived all were in complete amazement as my truck didnt have one crack in any window and we both were standing there relatively unhurt. Needless to say, the outcomes were very different for me, my wife and the old man. His car was completely smashed and beyond recognition and he was in critical condition. But my F-150 was a hero that night, not only were my wife and I safe but it was a living testament to those who witnessed the crash. I have since then owned 3 other F-150’s, I currently drive a 2011 Raptor. People ask why I drive such a big machine in a time with fuel prices are so high. I just smile and say, “its in my blood”.
