Strong And Reliable

This is our 2010 F-150 XLT. This truck has a 4.6L 3-V V8 with the 6-speed automatic transmission. This truck does everything! It is a temporary fill-in for one of our businesses (towing), it is the main work truck for our other business. It often tows and hauls thousands of pounds from Central West Virginia to Northeastern Ohio and back. The truck recently took my brother and dad all the way across the country to Gillette, Wyoming on a mule deer/antelope hunting trip. And at the moment, my dad is on a hunting trip with it in Nebraska to hunt whitetails. This truck NEVER misses a beat! Every shift is precise and there is always enough power to spare. It also has to experience some minor offroading on moderately muddy roads and it crosses quite a few creeks. We look forward to having this truck as a part of our family for many years and many miles to come. Thank you, Ford, for great vehicles! *Currently at 34,500 miles*

With all the campers on the road I think it would be wise for Ford to make a Camper Special like they used to in 1979.Most pickups today are going down the road overloaded on the rear axel. The Camper Special had a longer well base but the same length body. The spare tire was in the side of the bed on the passenger side. The extra wheel base moved about iooo lbs. off the rear and put it on the front. I had one and traded it for a 2003 Power Stroke and have been very sorry i did it.I had to buy special wheels and tires for the new truck plus put up with all the problems of the 2003 Power Stroke.
