Old Faithful

In 1979 my father bought a new Ford F-150. He had a 1975 Ford Explorer at the time. He gave me his old truck. We were farmers at the time. I ran the truck hard. It kept going for me. I even jumped a highway one time. I cracked the frame. I did not realize that the frame was cracked until later when I had it in the shop getting the transmission fixed. I was the typical teenager at the time. I ran my trucks hard. That truck was good to me. As bad as I treated it, it kept going. I sold it in 1983. I miss that old truck. I have since fallen on hard times. The only vehicle I could afford was a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500. My dream truck is a Ford F-350 crew cab dually or a Ford Raptor crew cab. Maybe one of these days I can get back into a Ford truck.
