Hi my name is Don Phillips and I’d like to start out with the fact that although I have had the intention of leaving feedback on many different things I never seem to take the time to do so. But I’ve been so impressed with the quality of your products that I just had to tell you! I have been a die hard General Motors man since I was a teenager buying and selling 60’s Chevrolet muscle cars. I’m now 45 and have owned over 50 vehicles and have done all my own customizing, repairs, maintenance, etc. (Ford,Chevrolet,GMC,Nissan,VW,Toyota,BMW) and I must say Ford quality surpasses any other auto manufacturer in my opinion. Your truck line is particularly impressive and I have run the gamut from Ranger to Super Duty. To give an example I currently own an F150 that I bought with front end damage. I located a same color donor vehicle for a front clip and the panels were incredibly easy to align and the paint was absolutely a perfect match which says everything about your quality control. I did a very similiar project on a Chevrolet 2500HD Duramax diesel and upon disassembly it was blatently apparent that the build quality on a truck that cost 3x more than the F150 didn’t even come close (to be honest the quality on the Chevy was crap) Notice that I’m not comparing my Super Duty to the Duramax and the reason for that is if the heavy duty Chevy can’t compete quality wise with your half ton It shouldn’t even be in the same category as the Super Duty (that truck is bulletproof) I also currently have a Chevrolet Trailblazer that was purchased new and has only 40k miles and has been riddled with problems since day one. I also have a BMW and although it is an amazing car the quality is not on par with Ford in my opinion. Your vendors also deserve praise as I just replaced the battery in my F150 and after doing some research realized that according to the date code it was the original Motorcraft battery and had lasted 12 years! (unbelievable) That’s what prompted me to send this letter. In closing I would just like to say that even though my father in law is a GM employee with an option 1 discount I would rather spend a substantial amount more to purchase one of your quality products. Thank you and keep up the good work, You’ve made another Ford customer for life.
