To start out i was born in a 1982 ford f 100 custom !!! I now own a 1999 F 150 lariat with a 5.4L. It is just about to hit 200,000 miles! And everything is the same as it was from the factory. My dad owns a 1997 F 150 XLT with the 5.4L. And his truck is the same way but his miles are quite different then mine! His truck has well over 320,000 miles and again same as it was when it left the factory.

Dakota I feel the same way I own a 1997 f 150 xl and it is all the same as factory other then tires and rims. I love the truck do alot of pulling and hauling with it I also have a 1979 Bronco that needs some work but the motor runs great just needs body work but what do you expct for something that old. Live by fords and wont own nothing else.
