My name is Rich West and I own a 1999 Ford F-150. The reason why I am telling this story about my F-150 is because I have never been so satisfied in owning a vehicle. A couple of years ago I was only living on pennies and dimes and of course I was saving up for a new or used vehicle in this case..so I was hanging out with my friends and my dad called me and said “You got to see this truck it is in emaculate condition and it totally suits you.” So I looked at it and I completely fell in love with it. It’s nice shiny black coat of paint, it’s roaring 4.6L V8, Its roomy interior but most importantly….it’s reliability! It gets me to and from places I need to go, it gets me up to the squad house to get on the ambulance to go out on a run and it helps me pull people out when their cars are stuck or tree branches fell down from a storm or crossing a small flood water across a road. I have to say if i were to get another vehicle it would be another F-150 cause they are so dependable and thanks to Ford for making the new F-150 with the new 5.0L and the 6.2L V8’s only wants to make me get one but how can I give up my 99 F-150? I love it to death would not give it up even if I was offered a new 2011 F-150 with the works…like they say you can’t beat the classics and my F-150 is shared in a generation of all F-150’s that have drove on this great land…you must get a Ford F-150 they are fantastic!!!!
