It was a big night for me tonight (my wife didn’t seem to care as much as I). Tonight at approximately 8:53 p.m., on January 23, 2013 (Outside temperature -2 F) our 1997 Ford F-150 hit 350,000 miles as we pulled into our driveway!
The crew at my local Ford dealer have been the only ones allowed to change my oil, and it shows. I’ve faithfully had my scheduled oil changes done by the Ford service center and look at the reward I get. Like my Dad always told me, “take care of your tools, and they’ll take care of you.” He was right.
This is my second Ford truck – my first was my very first vehicle, a 1983 Ford Ranger – I was just as happy with my first truck, but simply out-grew it. My parent always drove Fords and I hope my daughters will too.
Thank you Ford Motor Company for building reliable trucks!
