My Ford F150 Super Cab and I Have Been Together For 33 Years
FEB
27

Over 33 years there are so many different stories about my truck. I love my truck as much today as I did 33 years ago when my husband bought it for me for Valentine’s Day!! It was purchased at Chapel Ford in Raleigh North Carolina 1977.

It has survived four teenage drivers, numerous moves around four different states and dozens of farm animals. It has and still hauls hay, feed, building supplies and taken me back and forth to work that was a 40 mile round trip. I just retired in May of 2009 and now Ole Blue just works on the farm with me.

My truck has never let me down or left me stranded in 33 years. My Ford F150 Super Cab Explorer was the best truck you ever built and I have been blessed to have been the owner of such a wonderful gift to my life.

I have so much more to say about Ole Blue, but you don’t have the room and I don’t have enough time right now to tell it all to you.

Just that Ole Blue is THE BEST!!! I have attached a picture for your enjoyment. Oh, Ole Blue has never been in an accident in 33 years either, a tribute to you for creating a vehicle that you can see everything and everyone can see it. Blue is, as you would figure, a Carolina Blue from the Tar Heel State, original color.

Thank you for your time.
Loyal Always to Ford,
Cherry

John Olesek I have a 96 F150 138,00 miles on it. I have used it to pull an RV and to move 900 miles from Indiana to Alabama. Still runs great A/C still works and it has a comfortable ride. i am sure it will last a lot longer. Ford is the only truckk i will ever own!

lrg I drove Ford until I discovered Chevrolet!!!Only people who dont know better drive Fords. They cost more to run,but at least they didn"t need our tax money to stay in there. So my next truck will be a Ford.I refuse to buy from those poor beggars who only got 12 million in pay after they cried poor mouth,They remind me of relief jockeys ----so from here on it is only Ford

David Anderson This is the truck I used to pass my 1st drivers license exam. It carried 6 of us along thousands of miles of summer vacations and holiday trips as a family. My fondest memories of driving and riding and when I closed my eyes -- flying, were in this truck. No matter where we were, we knew it was home because Ole Blue was there. From my first car, a '66 Mustang, to my '72 F-150 short-bed, to my '69 Galaxy convertible, to my Explorer Expedition, there's never been a better loved Ford.

pat I've owned them all. Chevy, Dodge, and Ford. Theres only one truck that I will drive, and its a Ford. Thru thick and thin thats the only thing that will be there and I know that I can count on. From my 83 ranger to my 97 250 Powerstroke they have never failed in anything I have asked them to do. We have a small shop in southern MN and we specialize in rebuiding and customizing old Fords. They are the only truck that is built the best. Thank you Ford Motor Company that you have built trucks as well as you have. I bleed BLUE and will forever!!
