King Silver, The Truck That Refuses To Die

i remember the day we went to buy the truck second hand even though i was barely 4 years old. i remeber climbing up to the door and having to use all my strength to open it and then getting tossed when it finally opened and climbing in and hardly being able to get into the drivers seat let alone reach the steering wheel or pedals and sitting there pretending to drive it. well, nearly 14 years later i still have it. my dad used to take it hunting and got stuck in it more than once because he refused to do more than 10mph through the feild. he never cleaned it and it now has more rust on the undercarraige than a ship wreck. but when we got rearended did it give way to the bus? no way. that is why when my freinds ask me when its going to fall apart i say that their car may be solid steel but my fords rust is still stronger than theres ever was. if someone pulls up next to me on the highway and wants a go i never say no, i just watch as the tach reaches 5k and they are on the side of the road and a cop is at their window. ive gotten pulled over for having straight pipes but when they look underneith all they see is whats left of a before the bed dump pipe and a ready to go muffler.
