My story begin with Me W.C. Johnson being a ford doubter but no more. When I was young my Dad owned a 1978 Ford truck which he used for everything from hauling logs to hauling hogs. I think I stopped liking Ford trucks then because both of these things required me to have to work hard as a kid but the doggone truck would never quit running. In 2005 i purchased my new/ used 2003. It was new to me. It had only 20,000 miles on it when I bought it. Now “Whitegal” which is my truck nickname has over 300,000 miles on her. I just recently had a wreck in her in which a vehicle pulled out in front me and I got hit from behind. “Whitegal and the Good Lord” looked out for me and my friend and kept us alive. Everyone told me to take the total and get rid of the truck but I guess I learned from my mom and dad that ford trucks are really dependable vehicles. I had the truck repaired and she is still on the Tx roads of Mt.Calm. My son wants me to give it to him but right now I can’t afford to give her away and get a new one. Even a two car wreck couldn’t stop My 2003 F-150 but I do like the way the new Fords look. Maybe one day I will pass on my truck to my son so he can get the Ford fever. But until I can I will just keep putting miles on “Whitegal”
