Getting T-boned By A Drunk Driver

Back in early 2005, I returned from an 18 month deployment to Iraq. Upon my return, my wonderful Wife bought me the nicest truck I have ever had. To this day I would still get compliments on how nice a truck it is. A nearly new 2003 Bright red F150 FX4. Since then, the only thing I’ve had to do to it was change the plugs, coils, and a new altenator. And ofcourse regular mantinence on the fluids. (Royal Purple is good stuff). Anyway, I was just about to turn over 200,000 miles when a few days ago a drunk driver ran a red light and slammed into my passenger side. He was driving a 2010 GMC, so needless to say there was quite a bit of weight being thrown into me. Both of my airbags deployed and thankfully my FX4 took it and didn’t just fold up. I believe had I been in a lesser vehicle I could’ve been very seriously injured, or if I had been in a car someone could’ve been killed. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks to Ford, I believe your trucks are really “Built Ford Tough”
