In early May 2010 I was camping with friends in Gettysburg PA when a neighbor across from the campground came to us and asked if we could help pull his tractor out of the mud. My friend who owns a 2007 Dodge Ram Diesel 4×4 dully volunteered. We both drove over to help and found that the tractor was a yard tractor and pushed it out by hand. When we turned to look at the Dodge truck it had sunk about six inches in the mud. My friend tried to get the truck out by using his 4×4 but the truck was stuck in the mud to the front axle. He then turned to ask me in quite a bit of pain to go get my Ford F150 to help pull him out and when I say pain it was last thing he wanted to ask me. I went back to get my Ford F150 and hooked a chain to the front. The Ford pulled the Dodge out without a struggle and on top of that not a speck of mud was on the Ford compared to the Dodge that was covered with mud. Well needless to say this story was repeated many times while staying at the campground. My friend still loves his Dodge Ram but has a lot of respect for what F150 BUILT FORD TOUGH means now.
