I drove my 93 F-150 (Black Betty) for 17 year. In Sept. 10 someone in a large work truck turned in front of me at an intersection and I T-bones him going about 45 mph. I woke up to find the Truck destroyed from the front bumper to the Cab but the Cab was in tack. Pre-Airbag era but I did have my seat belt on. The steering wheel folded over and the steering column collapsed as designed. I was hurt but I was alive and I have no doubt it was because of that Truck. “Black Betty” saved my life after 17 years of faithful service. I’ve owned Ford’s all my life as my Father and Grandfather do and did and I will never drive another car make. I now drive a 1998 F-150 and also own a 2006 Grand Marquis but I may be looking at a new model “Black Betty” soon. Thank you Ford, for saving my life and what I’m sure are many more lives. Thank you.
