Brooke H. Just wanted to say a few words about Ford trucks. My father owns a '95 F-150 with 200,000k. He has never had a problem and the thing still runs like brand new. It was very reliable pulling our horses around to shows. He still has it and drives it daily. He now also owns an '07 diesel F-250 Superduty and likes it very much. My husband and I also only drive Ford and own an '06 diesel F-350 Kingranch Superduty (which BTW pulled a loaded semi 10 miles after the clutch on the semi went out) I drive an '05 Expedition and love it, it handles beautifily in the snow.

Adam Alvarez we depend on Ford trucks for our business and family. currently, my parents own and operate a pest control company in Hesperia, CA. we have 3 Ford trucks under our ownership right now. one 1989 F-250 custom 5.0L v-8, one '07 F-150 XLT super cab 5.4L, and one '08 F-150 super crew XL 4.6L. we use all 3 trucks as workhorses and daily drivers. the '07 f-150 is the pest control truck, so it's always loaded with a ladder rack with 2 ladders, 30 gallon sprayer with the tank full, and a large chemical box on the back. it's quite a bit of weight to be lugging around, but most trucks wouldn't have a problem. however, we use it as a personal truck as well. we sue it for towing, WITH everything still loaded in the bed, and as a daily driver/work truck. the '08 f-150 is the gas saver of the group. we had an '84 BMW which was our little gas saver, and an '03 E-350. unfortunately, the BMW was totaled in an accident, and we were forced to drive the van as a daily driver. we loved that van, but it didn't get the best gas mileage, being a one ton van. this was at the peak of gas prices, where gas nearly hit $5 per gallon. so, we had to sell it and buy a more fuel-efficient vehicle that would seat six people and was affordable and comfortable. we loved the '07, so decided to get another F-150, but with a crew cab. this truck has more than exceeded our expectations. the fuel economy is better than some cars, and it still has more than enough power to pull a large dump trailer up and down the mountains. it has plenty of creature comforts, like the CD player and MP3 player jack, and all the power windows/door locks and alarms. plus, it's plenty safe for a family of six. all this for only $23,000? we love it. my personal truck is the '89 F-250. it is surprisingly good on gas. nothing like the new trucks, but it more than pays for itself with the work it can do. it has a 1,000lb lift gate on an 8-ft bet. the bed is almost 9 feet long with the gate, and almost 12 with it open. i have had the bed loaded many times with just about anything you can imagine, and that truck just keeps pushing on. i use it to tow a tractor around town and do yard work, help friends with whatever they need, and pull a large tent trailer for camping in the middle of the desert, and go dirt bike riding, as well as drive to big bear from hesperia (3,500 feet to 7,500 feet) on a regular basis, sometimes towing on the way there. it really has proven itself, and is still running like a top. it's also my daily driver, to and from school and to help friends all the time. i use it off road as well to get to good paintball fields in the desert. i love my truck, and i don't plan on selling it any time soon. it has not only provided me with plenty of fun, but also worked to make money so i can have that fun. Ford, keep up the good work.

Ross W From my first truck, a 1987 Ranger, to my current '08 F-150 FX4 super crew, Ford Trucks have been fantastic trucks. I have owned 2 rangers and used them for off-roading as well as daily drivers. Putting nearly 400,000 miles between both Rangers, I upgraded in 2008 with a brand new F-150 that has seen much work and play. Anyone who rides in my F-150 with me always comments on how smooth and quiet it is. I can't wait to see what the next few years will bring to the Ford truck world!
