408,000 Miles So Far On The Little 4.2l 6 Cyl. Engine

I am Just shy of 408,000 miles on the 4.2L 2001 F-150. Pretty amazing. Engine still sounds smooth , transmission is smooth and still have the original water pump. I have use it mainly as a work truck and it is worn out in places but I never imagined it would last this long. I have a rear main seal that leaks oil but with that many miles I’m afraid to fix it, So I’ll just keep chugging along until I can afford to buy another.
