200,000 Miles

I snapped this photo at a stop light for proof. My 2002 F150 4×4 has 200,000 miles on it and is still running strong. I bought my truck in November of 2007 with 141,000 miles on it. I was a little leery about buying a vehicle with such high miles on it, but I loved the truck and needed one very bad. After a test drive, I bought it. Two years later I hit 200,000 miles. I just wanted to let everyone know that Ford makes the best running trucks in the world. Mine truck is proof.

Jeff Lavin 2001 ford explorer with 205k miles on it and still running strong. It regularly tows a snowmobile trailer. I've owned it since 135k and at least 40k has been towing. Replaced the wheel bearings in the front this year that's about it. It's amazing machine, It's been coast to coast and had to do some serious off roading at 203k and kept up with lifted jeeps. I have pictures of 191k to 199k and then 200k that I will have to post. Going for 300k wish me luck!

David I am a huge fan of ford. I own a 01 Ford Ranger with 206,000miles, (new Transmission). I wouldn't mind getting a new vehicle. I'd love to stay with ford but.. on consumer reports when I compare ford ranger and toyota Tacoma, the tacoma comes out FAR BETTER. They are NO bad spots on it. The Ranger is horrible (im paring 4x4 of both). I wish ford would address issues like consumer reports brings up. Because I do see a quality increase in ford.. bit I also see a, not fixing major issues in their vehicles (consumer reports). Are they biased is does ford really have these bad of issues (Ford Ranger). Another thing, why won't ford bring or at least give the option to the american people of the Turbo Diesel Ford Ranger, I saw that baby in Honduras all day long when I was down there... I WANT ONE! the guy down there told me they get some 40mpg. HOLY COW! plus they just look good. I want to go down there and drive one back.. haha

Alex that's nothing! We have a 2005 F150 Crew Cab Lariat! 4x4 as of yesterday it has 237k! best part. its the original motor and transmission! we have had 47 oil changed spark plugs changed twice 4 fuel filters and are coming up on the 5th Transmission service! this truck is used hard for work! most of the time carrying the max payload and towing more than the Factory rating! it just keeps going and going this truck has yet to break down! most of the Fleet is Fords with one being an 07 dodge diesel that is parked most of the time because we cant trust it not to break down! thanks ford for keeping our company on the move when the times are tough!
