I was on I-55 in Missouri south of St louis just after dark and the highway became a ice rink. I got my offto the side of the highway along with a couple other vehicles. As I was sitting there hoping a salt truck would come by. A tracker trailer driving to fast for road conditions lost conrtol hit the mini van behind me and knock him of the side of the road (I was watching all this in my mirrors) then hit me in the rear of the van as he was going off the highway which pushed me 60 feet forward into a large box truck with a liftgate backend. Next thing I rember is someone pulling open the passenger door asking if I was ok. There wasn’t a panel on this Ford van that good after that accident. Thank god for airbags , seatbelts and built Ford tough E series vans other wise I may not be here.
