354,000 Miles And Still Going Strong

i am a proud owner of a 1997 ford e-250 van that has never let me down. I bought this van in 1997 brand new. It has been the most reliable vehicle i have ever owned. I still drive it to this day with 354,000 miles and still running stronger than ever. The 5.4L triton engine is the best engine ford could have ever produced. If you need any more info on this vehicle than please get in contact with me

David E I have seen company fleets get 450,000 miles on their Ford vans. Hang in there, and take good care of it. Your engine is "just getting broken in"! The transmissions, on average, seem to only last about 300,000 miles. (What's that all about?) :-)

With new Federal CAFE std's coming , why not offer the UK Ford Ka with a bit more HP here in the USA and even the Mexico market Ford Courier as well ? They might actually develop a loyal following both owners and aftermarket suppliers. Fun , frugal and reliable . Even insurance could cost less much less annual fuel costs. There's not really a ceiling on gas prices , cost to produce 17inch and larger diameter tires ect . In a climate of poor economic health i believe many will look through the 5-7 year cost of ownership plan and buy on price . These two vehicles could become a bread and butter of sorts for Ford as the industry and world changes . At current exchange rates < MSRP's> i know i would rather buy one of each of those two vehicles for my driveway than one loaded Fiesta with all the bells and whistles. Less is more these days . My 2 cents anyway.
