just a note. my 95 windstar will pass the 304,000 mile mark this week. original engine and trans, cv axles. it has definitely given me my $ worth. i plan on keeping it around even after i order a new Edge shortly.

Your Ideas
The Ford trucks should have a power tailgate lock/unlock. Dealer says to keep the tailgate locked because it's easy to steal, especially with the built in step and handle. Problem is you should be able to lock and unlock with a power switch in the cab or it could just work with the rest of the door locks.
