Keeps On Going

I completed a survey regarding my 2005 Mercury Mountaineer. I wanted to let you know this vehicle has 252,000 miles on it (it had 13 miles on it when I bought it) and had it’s first major repair (transmission) at 240,000 miles. What a great car! I’m in the market for a new Explorer or Lincoln MKC. Thank you for making this wonderful vehicle, it has been a pleasure to own and drive. When I get a new one I’m keeping this Mountaineer…it’s just to good to let it go!!! Thanks!

I would like to see the 260ci V8 make a come back for the mustang or for another rear wheel drive vehicle. The 5.0 coyote engine is a great engine, but C.A.F.E. requirements are going to keep getting higher and by 2025 the average fuel economy rating will be around 52.6 mpg with that in mind the 260ci would not only save more fuel, but it will still provide the power people demand only in a smaller package.
