This Car Make A Great Point!

When I first turned 21, I decided to purchase my first new car. I was looking for something with space and convenience. Against the will of several of my friends, i decided to buy a 1999 Ford Explorer. From day one, this car has been amazing to me and my family. It has never broken down, or needed any major repairs. Thank Ford! This car has blown away my friends in regards to their expectations. I applaud this car because I have driven it to 311,896 miles, and it still runs GREAT! Thanks again Ford for making another great product!

I can't tell you how many times I've used auto start, got in the vehicle ('11 Explorer), and touched the shifter. This will automatically kill the engine. Then I have to restart the vehicle. I don't understand why a "ding" or something couldn't be used to tell me I didn't follow the proceedures of brake and push-to-start-button, but constantly killing the engine and restarting is a little excessive to me. Plus, I usually use the auto start when it is very hot or very cold outside. When this occurs, I'm left sitting in my vehicle without the engine or fans running. I left with extreme heat or cold. Not to mention the extra strain on the battery and starter....and waste of time while everything reboots/restarts. All of this could be avoided with a simple "ding" or lock. Thanks!
