Over The Mountains Through The Woods And Across The Country.

I am endlessly impressed by the durability and reliability of my 97 Mountaineer (year that looks like explorer). I drove it 2500 miles and it only burned a 1/4 quart of oil. It has about 174000 miles and the engine still runs very smooth, along with the transmission shifting smooth. I drive up a mountain road for 10 miles and didn’t even come close to moving the temp gauge at 10000+ feet. i have also gone through several off road trails without even getting stuck. Finally, the sound of that Ford 302 starting up never gets old.
