I was hoping one day to buy my husband a ford explorer. We have always been a ford family starting out with a ford escort then a ford ranger then a 2003 ford explorer are favorite. We also have a work car 2000 ford escape. We paid cash for all cars. since we purchase our explorer I knew someday we want to buy another one.. In 2004 I inherited $5,000 our explorer was flex fuel. When vera sun ethonol went public with stock I thought it was a sure thing. everyone was saying ethonol was the future.. I could realize my dream in a few years and buy another explorer for my husband.. I bought the stock at my bank and the broker told me he was going to buy ford because it was down to 3.00 a share. oh how I regret not listening to him….well to make a long story short Vera Sun went bankrupt 2 years later and I lost my money. It has haunted me for the last 5 years everytime I see a ford story I cant stop thinking about my mistake not buying ford stock. We still have our 2003 explorer we love it but it has 91,000 miles we are saving to get a newer one in a few years. But in this economy we are grateful we have it. it has been a very reliable car . We have a boat that we take to Wisconsin every year to fish and it does and outstanding job towing it. Thanks for reading my story I feel better about getting it off my chest.
