It Began With An Explorer!

When we first got engaged we bought a 1991 Ford Explorer. After over 250,000 we had to “let it go”. We got the first of the 3 door pick ups. It currently has 250,000 miles. And we also have a 2001 Expedition with 256,000 miles on it. WE LOVE OUR FORDS!!!
We have an animal rescue group-Zoi’s Animal Rescue & hope to one day have a Ford VAN just to transport our animals. (This is why our own vehicles have so many miles!)
We can not brag enoough about how hard we are on our cars—and they just keep going! Thank GOD!!!!
Sorry no pics at this time. But can get them if you want them!

I think that the 3rd row seat switches should have some kind of cover over them to prevent accidental activation. There have been several reports of the fold/tumble switches being accidentally activated by items in the cargo area when loading/unload items. I have done it myself and had the cargo mat jammed up when the seats began to move into position. It has also happened with children in the seats. It is not a safe design. This applies to both the 5th generation Explorer and the Lincoln that I have.
