Explorer family

I recently bought a brand new 2012 explorer limited and my fiance and I took our first road trip to see her parents in Maine for Thanksgiving. And I realized while we were there that I am now truly part of not only their family but Ford’s family as well. I have always driven an Acura and when deciding what vehicle I should get my fiance suggested the explorer. And on Thanksgiving I realized why. Her mom has been driving an explorer since 2000 (that now belongs to her brother) and she now has an 08 sport trac and now that I have the 12 limited we truly are an explorer family! The vehicles are truly great vehicles and that’s why we keep on buying the explorers through the past 12 years. Although this is my first, it most certainly won’t be my last

Here is the picture of the day I bought my explorer. So proud to be an owner, it only had 5 miles on it when I picked it up and still had all of the plastic on it (note the plastic on the wheels.

Your Ideas
It would be great if Ford brought back the Bronco on an F150 frame as it originally was. I previously owned two Ford Explorers a 1999 and 2002 but I dislike the current styling of the Explorer and Escape. I would not consider buying one. They have lost the aggressive truck utility styling and look more like a van or crossover not something that should be taken off road or anywhere aside from hauling groceries or the family. There is a market for it and people who are looking for a true utility vehicle with the looks and ability of a truck.
