250,000 Miles And Still Going!
OCT
21

I have a 1996 Ford Explorer that just reached the 250,000 mile milestone! WOW! It still runs great and gets great gas mileage. I have always used synthetic oil and changed it every 3,000 miles. Unlike other posters on this site, I have not replaced that many parts! The vehicle is paid for many years past and the expense for maintenance is incredibaly low! The derisive term assigned to the FORD namesake – found on the road dead – only applies to Fords found on the road dead of “EXTREME” old age! Ha Ha! Take a look at my beauty.
