My Big Black Beautiful Ford Expedition

I just watched a commercial from Toyota about someone’s truck having 180,000 miled on it and it is still running. I have a 2000 Ford Expedition with 180.000 miles on it and it is still running as well.
I bought my Big Black Beautiful Ford Expedition in 2000…my first new car/truck. I took me out of town in 2005 with my three days of belongings and my dog for Katrina and it is still running…routine maintance, a few scratches and dings but still my Big Black Beautiful Expedition.
If I win the lottery believe me the next car I buy will be another Expedition….and by the way I am so proud of your company for not taking any help from the government.

As one of your biggest consumers and fans, I find myself perplexed again. After reading this month’s Motor Trend SUV of the Year competition, it reinforces my frustration. It also reminds me why I haven't bought a new vehicle since 2006 & 2005, which are both Fords. The Ford Explorer for example that is tested with the 4 cycle EcoBoost, which is currently the "Top of the Line" motor offered has the slowest 0-60 and quarter mile times being beat out by every Contender, including even a VW. So my question, what the heck are you guys not getting? Ford has a more than capable V-6 EcoBoost that should be offered in a "Sport" model for a majority of your brands. It should be offered in the Edge Sport, Fusion Sport, Explorer and in the Expedition, not just the Taurus and Flex!!!! Both of which should be the last choices, not the first! So wake up, you have great advances, products, technology and quality . . . Don't let your competitors take any market share, Take there’s!!!!! Sincerely, one of your biggest supporters! P.S. When the V-6 EcoBoost is offered in either the Edge, Explorer or Expedition I will first in line to buy! We currently have a 1997 Ford Explorer XLT V-8 as one of my work trucks, my daily driver is a 2005 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer, my wife drives a 2006 Ford Fusion SEL V-6 and both my parents and my in-laws have 2 Fords in each house hold!
