2011 Cross Country Road Trip

We’ve moved to the US from Israel 9 years ago and every summer we would send the kinds to stay with the family back home. This year we finally got our US citizenship and decided to celebrate it with a cross country road trip.
My plan included sharing the driving with my 15 year old son (which got his driving permit earlier this year) – this proved to be a mistake, having driven 30 minutes he claimed that driving is boring and joined his sister and mom which were constantly on the net using CLEAR.
Our Expedition EL took us safely from Atlanta to the Grand Canyon, Vegas, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San DIego, San Antonio and back to Atlanta.
Although we enjoyed every minute of it (or at least I did) – I guess the kids will enjoy the memories more than actually spending with us two and a half weeks on the road, I would have liked having the extra space (that our Excursion which I still own) got me used to. Moreover, having a built in WIFI would have helped.
Thank you FORD for a great safe and technologically advanced car, which allowed me to spend some quality time with the family this summer – flying from place to place would have been expensive and miserable.
