We're A Ford Family!!

My grandfather and my great Uncle worked with Henry Ford in Detroit. After WWII, my Dad joined Ford Motor Company, working first in Detroit and then in Buffalo New York and later in Illinois. My nephew now works at Ford Motor Company in Chicago Heights. IL.
Through the years, there have ALWAYS been FORDS parked in our driveways! I remember when my Dad was in New York, he used to get a “company car” and we even drove an Edsel!
Now, when our family has a get together, the neighbors joke that it looks like a Ford car lot…..everyone drives Ford vehicles! My Mom, who at age 88 still drives…..loves her little ‘96 Escort. My husband and I each drive an Escape and our son…..a Ford Ranger (his second one.) My grandson drives an Explorer. I even request a Ford when I’m on vacation and I’m renting a car! I guess FORD is just in our blood!
