A few years ago when G M was stopping production of the Pontiac and the Saturn I had a 2006 G6 convertible and a 07 DTS at the same time. I wanted to lease a 2010 GMC SUV. GM decided they didn’t want me to be leasing two of their cars and buying a third one. At this point ,I am retired and my wife is a retired RN. I owned my house outright and we were both receiving S.S and retirements checks. I guess GM didn’t think we were a good risk ,even though we had a credit rating at near 8. We checked out a few SUV’s and decided to try a Ford ESCAPE. It had all the toys we wanted and fit our needs very well. Today I leased our third Escape ,3/7/13. My wife wanted to have one more car that she had grown to love. I really loaded this one up with all the toys. You see . four weeks ago she was told she has stage four lung cancer and she wanted to enjoy one more Escape while she was still able to drive. When I brought home this beautiful white Ford Escape and parked it in our drive, she had no idea I had our dealership find this car for her over the last few days. No matter what the car set us back it was all worth it ,just to see how happy it made her and now she can’t wait to drive it tomorrow. Thank you Ford Co. and Donnell Ford of Boardman, Ohio.
