I had a 2003 Ford Escape.. I dearly loved it.. sorry to say I no longer have it. on April 20, 2009 I was in a head-on car crash.
I have been so upset that I am not able to get a new one because of this, and mine was taken from me and it was not my fault. The police officer said to me that my Ford Escape saved my life. Upon impact the engine went under my Escape and the other car’s engine went where mine was, the other car burned to the ground. In spite of the damage and the airbag deployed, the cabin area remained mostly intact and saving my life. Both the Officer investigating the crash and my mechanic were amazed at how well it protected me. I want to thank you for your commitment to my safety. After my injuries are healed and when I am able to, it is my intention to faithfully drive and own another one. Until then this little non-Ford car that I’m using to get back and forth to the doctors appointments scares me and I miss my Escape even more. Thank you.
